Steve Busch, Human Resources Strategies LLC helps clients with Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Coaching, Fractional Human Resources Leadership, Safety and Risk Management (OSHA compliance), Compensation and Benefits, Employee and Labor Relations, Workplace Investigations, Government/Media Affairs, and Workforce Development.
Steve has thirty years of human resources leadership experience with Fortune 500 corporations and privately held companies. He has a Master’s Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Jacksonville University.
Steve is a member of the Society of Human Resources National Health Care Working Group and Government Advocacy Team. He is a board member of the Boulder Colorado Area Human Resources Association, Energize Colorado, and Coventure. He is a guest lecturer at Michigan State University and Grand Valley State University.
Find It: Steve hired over 2000 engineering, accounting, I.T. operations, and C-Suite leaders. He led complex startups, M&A, talent management projects and has conducted large scale hiring events throughout North America.
Develop It: Steve launched Corporate University vocational education partnerships in Florida and Michigan. He is a recipient of the “National Innovation of the Year” award from the National Community College Organization. He wrote workforce development grants resulting in $3.5M and multi million dollar federal tax credits.
He conducts training in leadership effectiveness, risk management, employee selection and employment law.
His work with innovative training processes has received recognition from the United States Department of Energy, White House American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Office, Michigan Governor’s office, Florida Governor’s office and the Michigan Economic Development Cooperation.
Engage It: Steve is a certified Development Dimensions International (DDI) Targeted Selection Interview Techniques Trainer and a Gordon International Leadership Effectiveness Trainer.
Keep It: Steve has extensive organized labor and union free employee relations experience. He encourages accountability, collaboration, trust, respect, and empathy when guiding individuals and groups.
